  • 👋 Hi, I’m Josh — a former hotel operator with a love for tech, automation, and finding smarter ways to work.
     

    During my time as both a General Manager and Director of Operations, I saw firsthand how hotel teams often rely on a messy mix of spreadsheets, PDFs, scattered file folders, or sometimes no system at all. These inefficiencies don’t just slow things down — they contribute to the burnout so many operations teams face.
     

    The truth is, hotels never close. They’re open 24/7, 365 days a year—through rain, snow, blizzards, or anything else. And too often, the people keeping those doors open feel like cogs in a machine, carrying the constant weight of the business.
     

    When I was in the trenches, I remember thinking: “There has to be a better way.” That’s what we’re building with HOP.
     

    Our goal isn’t to replace the human side of hospitality or distract teams from what really matters. It’s to create a system that works the way hotels need it to — freeing up time, reducing stress, and giving hotel teams more of their lives back.

  • We believe HOP should prove its value before it ever costs you a dime. Our goal is to show how the platform can truly simplify and streamline your hotel operations.
     

    When the time comes to transition to a monthly subscription, you’ll receive plenty of notice—no surprises.

  • Our initial release is designed primarily for General Managers and their on-property staff, helping streamline day-to-day hotel operations.
     

    That said, the foundation we’re building is flexible and scalable. Soon, we’ll be expanding to include Regional Managers, Property Support teams, Owners, and Corporate Hotel Management Companies—making it possible to manage operations of hotel portfolios from HOP.

  • As of August 2025, we’re elbow-deep in coding and bringing HOP to life. The BETA launch is just around the corner!
     

    Once you apply, we’ll notify you by email as soon as your hotel can be set up in HOP so you can start exploring and using the platform.

  • Our goal with HOP is to create a platform that supports every level of hotel operations—General Managers, Owners, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Regional Managers, and Property Support teams.
     

    To be clear, HOP is not a replacement for your PMS (Property Management System). Instead, it’s designed to fill the gaps in operations management—the areas where most hotels still rely on spreadsheets, paper, or scattered tools.

    Some of the core functionality we’re building into HOP includes:
     

    • Inventory Management:
      Track supplies, amenities, and back-of-house items with ease.

    • Key Tracking:
      ​​Manage staff keys, master keys, and access logs securely.

    • Lost & Found:
      Centralize guest item tracking and ensure follow-through.

    • HR & Staff Tools:
      From time-off requests to write-ups and shift trades.

    • Preventative Maintenance:
      Schedule and monitor recurring maintenance tasks before they become problems.

    • Group Block Management:
      Keep group reservations and allocations organized outside the PMS.

    • Meeting Room Scheduling:
      Manage internal meeting spaces and events.

    • Pool Testing & Maintenance Logs:
      Ensure compliance and safety with digital recordkeeping.

    And this is just a little view into our vision for HOP. As HOP grows, we’ll continue expanding features to cover more operational needs, all with the goal of reducing inefficiencies, cutting down on burnout, and giving hotel teams the tools they truly need.
